Amelia Metcalf
Managing Director & Founder
Amelia Metcalf is the Founder and Managing Director of Bourke Street Advisory. With nearly two decades of experience operating at the highest levels of Australian public policy, corporate affairs, and political strategy, Amelia possesses a rare, inside-out understanding of the machinery of government.
Amelia specialises in navigating highly complex political landscapes, designing sophisticated advocacy strategies, and translating technical policy priorities into compelling narratives for senior government decision-makers. Over twenty years, she has cultivated an extensive, trusted network spanning all tiers of government and political spectrums.
Prior to founding Bourke Street Advisory, Amelia served as a senior federal public servant specialising in national telecommunications policy, before transitioning to corporate government relations at NBN Co. Most recently, she spent five years on the frontline of Australian politics as a senior political and policy adviser to two federal Cabinet Ministers, providing high-level counsel on major national policy reform.
Amelia holds a Bachelor of Arts (International Relations) from the Australian National University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Canberra.

Noa Stanton
Associate
Noa is a full time Associate at Bourke Street Advisory, driving the research, insights, and strategic communication infrastructure that underpins successful client campaigns.
Noa specialises in political and policy research, stakeholder mapping, and the development of high-quality briefing materials that ensure clients are always ahead of the legislative cycle. She also spearheads Bourke Street Advisory’s premier event management portfolio, expertly coordinating high-stakes delegations and corporate events inside Parliament House to deliver tangible access and results for clients.
In addition to her research and event portfolios, Noa directs the firm’s digital footprint and communications activities, managing social media strategy and public-facing content to reinforce our clients’ thought leadership.
Noa holds a Bachelor of Strategic Communication from the University of Technology Sydney, with a major in Social and Political Science. Her background blends a deep comprehension of public affairs with a modern, data-driven approach to strategic messaging and stakeholder engagement.
