Amelia is the founder and managing director of Bourke Street Advisory. Amelia is skilled in navigating complex political landscapes, developing effective advocacy strategies, and communicating policy positions and priorities to decision-makers. She has a strong understanding of the machinery of government, policy development, and a broad network of contacts across government.
Amelia has nearly two decades of experience working in, or with, government. Previously she was a senior federal public servant, working in telecommunications policy, before moving into government relations at NBN Co. More recently, she served as a senior political and policy adviser to two federal Cabinet Ministers nearly five years.
Amelia has a Bachelor of Arts (International Relations) from the Australian National University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Canberra.
Noa is a full time associate at Bourke Street Advisory, supporting client engagement through strategic communications, political and policy research, and the preparation of high-quality briefing materials.
Noa leads event management at Bourke Street Advisory, and responsible for coordinating events in Parliament House to deliver results for our clients. Noa also leads the development and delivery of Bourke Street Advisory’s digital and communications activities, including social media.
With a Bachelor of Strategic Communication from the University of Technology Sydney, and a major in Social and Political Science, Noa brings a strong understanding of public affairs, strategic messaging, and stakeholder engagement.
Dan is a full-time associate at Bourke Street Advisory, supporting client engagement, political research, stakeholder mapping and strategic briefing for our clients, with a particular focus on supporting clients in their NSW government engagement.
Dan brings experience and expertise from his time working as an adviser to an upper house member in New South Wales Parliament where he provided strategic advice, managed stakeholder relationships and supported the development of policy initiatives. He has an in-depth understanding of how NSW Parliament operates and a well-developed network across the NSW government.
With a Bachelor of International Studies from the University of Wollongong, majoring in both International Relations and Politics, Dan has a thorough understanding of both domestic and international affairs, which he applies in his work advising clients.
